Our Crew

A licensed Captain, Jason Smith, founded Boat Yard Services in 2002 in order to provide the type of professional yacht maintenance services found on larger yachts with full-time crews. Jason, who was born and raised in the British Virgin Islands, the sailing capital of the Caribbean, has worked in the yachting industry in both the Virgin Islands and Florida since the early '90s. A former yacht skipper and dockmaster, with a degree in business management and marketing, Jason is knowledgeable in all aspects of boat maintenance.

Jason's team includes qualified boat captains and maintenance experts; experienced boat washers and detailers; and an extensive network of trusted subcontractors who can take care of all your boat's needs from start to finish.
